WHAT WE DO
Shades of Brown is a multicultural, multiethnic, all-gender a cappella group rooted in the African-American tradition. We hold several performances throughout the year and perform at on- and off- campus events by request.

Shades of Brown was founded to provide a space for students of color to express themselves and their heritage through music. As a group so closely tied to the black community, Shades aims to bring a bit of black joy to every stage.
