Oja! (meaning fire in the Ghanaian language, Twi) is a dance family at Brown University that incorporates various traditional and contemporary African styles into our workshops and performances. Our stylistic influences include azonto, gumboot dance, mapouka, Afro-Cuban dance, etighi, galala, kpanlogo, and much more!
