WHAT

WHAT WE DO

Beta Omega Chi is an anti-hazing and community service oriented fraternity founded by three Black Brown University sophomore students, Ahmed Elsayed, Andrew Gonzales and Cedric Kuakumensah, on September 17th, 2013. This brotherhood was formed as a mechanism to increase the retention rates of Black men in higher education and provide greater social, academic and professional support for Brown's Black community as a whole.

WHY

OUR MISSION

The mission of Beta Omega Chi is "to unite and fuel members to achieve greater heights in higher education, social development and transformative community service". With the continued growth of the organization, the members of Beta Omega Chi hope to assist not only Brown University, but also Providence and cities alike with a spirit of collectivism and brotherhood as well as a commitment to thoughtful and consistent community engagement.
